Another day on the lake

I can't believe that it is already August. It seems that the boys just got out of school and now Bryan and Brandon start in just over a week. July was a very busy month for us. Last Wednesday we had Cub Scout Pack meeting here at our house. That was our 5th party at our house in the month of July. Wow what a month. It seems like every time we have our friends over for a party it is cold outside and the kids teeth chatter as they are swimming. Brandon had Cub Scout day camp last Wednesday and Thursday and Sean was staff there. They both really had a good time. Our Cub Master asked Brandon if he would get up in church and tell all about day camp and he said yes. I was really surprised. He did a fantastic job!! He didn't use notes or anything. He just got up and told about what they did. It was great. Yesterday we went to the lake for a short trip. It was not that warm out on the water so it was not out best trip. I took Zachary on too many rough rides so he was cranky and Jay's arms were hurting from hanging on so we just did two short rides with Jay and the two younger ones and then packed it up and came home. It was still nice to be together as a family even though it was colder than we would have liked.
